Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 23, 2026

The short version: Pauseful collects nothing. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no advertising. Everything you enter or that the app observes stays on your device and is never transmitted. Pauseful contains no networking code — your information physically cannot be sent anywhere.

What Pauseful stores on your device

To do its job, Pauseful keeps the following locally on your iPhone only (in the app's private storage and its App Group container, shared solely with Pauseful's own Screen Time extensions):

You can remove all of this at any time by changing your selections in the app or deleting the app.

Screen Time / Family Controls

Pauseful uses Apple's Family Controls framework with individual authorization — you are setting limits for yourself. Pauseful uses this access only to show a mindful pause screen on the apps you chose. It does not, and technically cannot, monitor your browsing, read your messages, or see your activity inside other apps.

Data sharing and selling

None. Pauseful does not share, sell, rent, or transmit your information to anyone, because it never leaves your device in the first place.

Children's privacy

Pauseful is a personal digital-wellbeing tool and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If Pauseful's data practices ever change (for example, if an optional cloud feature is added in the future), this policy will be updated and the change described here before that feature ships.
